Job Summary
We are seeking a Handyperson to join our team covering the Hertfordshire region. You will be responsible for carrying out various tasks in residents' homes, including lock changes, replacing strip lights, installing window locks, fitting smoke alarms, painting and decorating, and gardening tasks such as hedge cutting, grass cutting and weeding. You will also undertake other duties broadly consistent with the level of the post as required. Providing top customer service is key at all times, as you will be representing Clarion Housing and dealing with members of the public daily.
Responsibilities
- Perform lock changes and window lock installations
- Replace strip lights and fit smoke alarms
- Paint and decorate residential properties
- Complete gardening tasks such as hedge cutting, grass cutting and weeding
- Carry out other duties broadly consistent with the level of the post
- Provide top customer service and represent Clarion Housing to members of the public
Requirements
- Must be able to travel regularly across Hertfordshire and Essex
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and reside in England or Wales during employment
- Subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance
