Responsibilities

  • Work in a busy kitchen preparing and cooking a range of food items
  • Serve and sell food to students, staff and stakeholders
  • Order and check goods inward and maintain invoiced stock records
  • Keep kitchen areas clean and maintain hygiene standards
  • Assist in supervising a team of catering assistants

Qualifications

  • Experience cooking in a large‑scale catering environment, ideally in education
  • Understanding of providing healthy eating options
  • Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate mandatory
  • NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent
