Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming café environment.
  • Supervise and support the café team throughout daily operations.
  • Lead shifts and take responsibility for the café in the absence of the Unit Manager.
  • Prepare and serve high‑quality food and beverages, including coffee.
  • Ensure café standards, food safety, hygiene, and brand requirements are consistently maintained.
  • Support the induction, training, and development of new team members.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures in line with company standards.
  • Support stock control, food waste management, cash handling, and café administration.
  • Help deliver café sales targets while maintaining excellent operational standards.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures.

Our ideal Café Supervisor will

  • Have previous supervisory experience within a café, hospitality, catering, or retail environment
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a customer‑facing catering or hospitality role
