The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Purpose of the Role

To oversee and manage works across our SEMD Projects in the South East alongside the Site Manager.

The Role

This is a permanent job role. Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday.

Paid hourly, with overtime paid. You will be paid your travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours.

Company van provided, with fuel card issued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising Security, Civil & electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans.
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and to be empowered to stop work should unsafe circumstances arise.
  • Coach and mentor Site staff, including Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices.
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients.
  • Promote positive health and well-being amongst their peers.
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation.

Essential Requirements

  • CSCS/ECS gold card (essential)
  • SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
  • Experience as a Site Supervisor, managing and overseeing MEICA or security projects.
  • Experience within water / heavy industrial industries.
  • Appropriate City & Guilds trade Qualification.
  • Fit to work medical (can be completed upon starting employment).
  • Will need to pass BPSS screening.

Desirable

  • PASMA / IPAF Cat & Genny/Service Avoidance Training
  • Confined space EUSR water hygiene Thames water passport
  • Inspection and testing certification.
