Staff Nurse - Pre-Assessment – Shrewsbury | Pre Assessment | Full time – includes some Saturday work on a rota basis
- Up to £34,001.50 per annum depending on experience • 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service.
- As the first point of contact, work with leading professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery.
- Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care.
- Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family.
- Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care.
- Build experience across new practices, equipment and facilities.
- Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Registered with the appropriate governing body (including NMC).
- Post-registration experience preferred; you are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Shrewsbury Hospital
Shrewsbury Hospital is purpose-built with 24 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department including physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging (X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT).
We specialise in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, and undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.
