Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Hospitality & Events to join our team, working on major sports and entertainment sponsorships with a primary focus on global Formula 1 (F1) hospitality, supporting event strategy and all aspects of planning and successful execution for select Fortune 500 clients on our roster.
This is an amazingly diverse position, and you will play an important role on a team that works with clients, external partners, and teammates to develop corporate hospitality across F1 on a global scale.
This role will see you work using your logistical knowledge to deliver against the client's brief, working on behalf of a sponsor for Formula 1.
You will be working as a key part of a wider project team, will work closely with the wider team in the US and have some on track events, so you'll need to be comfortable and have the ability to travel frequently (both weekdays and weekends) and be flexible with hours of work to accommodate differing time zones.
This role will report into Director, Hospitality & Events and is based in London.
Responsibilities
Hospitality Delivery
- Advise clients on event strategies and project plan and manage all aspects of event planning including: Event logistics (room layouts, audio visual, F&B, decor, and signage).
- Guest experience (invitations, communication, gifting, and transportation).
- Venue research and contracting
- Manage on-site vendors and oversee contractors.
- Run of show development, and programming and event scheduling.
- Budgeting (preparing and managing line-item budgets and managing event branding, collateral, on-site materials)Enforce company and client policies during execution and create client-ready event itineraries, staffing plans, and event recaps
- Serve as the primary liaison with the race team partner that the client sponsors.
Client Servicing/Account Management
- Manage day to day relationships with clients and lead client status calls/updates.
- Set the tone for client servicing excellence and oversee the standards set.
- Develop and author communication deliverables including event overviews, post event recaps, case studies, and recommendations to client-ready status.
Project Management
- Take ownership on client projects and manage them from start through to completion, communicating project status with account leads, internal team and clients.
- Budget development, management, and reconciliation
- Support directors with the management of resource and workloads across the team on designated projects.
- Adhere to excellent time management.
Administration
- Ensure that timesheets for yourself and any direct reports are completed on time and accurately.
- Oversee and be the key point of contact for finance related activities on your accounts.
New Business Support
- Support new business functions by participating in new client proposals and pitch processes.
- Look to build opportunities from current clients.
- Put together proposals and costings for small to mid-size projects with support from Directors.
- Support the agency marketing plan and input through social media.
- Contribute to agency thought leadership and external social promotion

- Take interest in the wider industry to understand how sponsorships fits into it.
- Support junior members of the agency with developing their understanding of the industry and latest news.
What we're looking for
- In-depth knowledge of the event industry with a good understanding of the wider events landscape.
- Formula 1 experience is essential along with an understanding of sport and working within sport/sponsorship.
- Demonstrable experience in project management and client servicing excellence.
- Experience in corporate hospitality management; able to both negotiate and manage suppliers, including F&B, creative, signage, audio visual, transportation, etc.
- A strategic and logical thinker who can provide counsel to our clients and suppliers in delivering best in class solutions.
- Experience managing and reconciling event budgets and finances; fiscally responsible with success overseeing large budgets and costs in detail.
- Superstar project management skills, including MS Office suite.
- A team mentality, contributing to high performing teams.
- Ability to travel frequently, both weekdays and weekends.
