Role Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

As a Senior Consultant, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements.

You will have change management experience and prior success as a senior consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Management of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders and client accounts.

Act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm (e. g., Services).

  • Support Project Managers and Business Analysts, ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

Provide guidance and mentorship to more junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development.

  • Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC's values.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to support the development of campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC's Consulting practice.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and support the development of consulting expertise.

Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.

  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Identifying opportunities to enhance existing processes to optimise efficiency and develop DC IP.

As an experienced Senior Consultant, you will have

  • Proven Consulting experience or alternatively in Project Management or Business Analysis within Financial Services.
  • Change management experience: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live.
  • Understanding of Financial Services products and lifecycle events.
  • Some experience managing small projects, supporting successful project/programme deliveries.
  • Good knowledge of the capital markets eco-system and participants. E. g., sell side, buy side, market infrastructure, etc.
  • You will come from a management consultant background or within a change role in a financial services institution.
  • You must have a blend of both Financial Services knowledge and soft skills across influence, listening, presentation and team management.
  • You will be expected to be comfortable working on an independent basis and managing your own workload with minimal supervision.
  • You will also be responsible for helping to grow our business by supporting ongoing operations and RFPs.

It would be great if you had knowledge of any of the following

  • Experience of working in financial services regulation
  • Experience of working in an agile environment with Agile certifications
  • Experience of working across technology and system upgrades
