Overview
We're recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part‑time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week.
As a Chef, you will prepare and serve high‑quality food within a market‑leading UK food service company.
This role is contracted to 42.6 weeks per year.
Responsibilities
- Prepare delicious, high‑quality food that delights clients and customers.
- Oversee and implement menu changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve food services.
- Listen to and act on customer feedback to continuously improve services.
- Support the creation of new menus and creative food concepts.
- Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
- Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well‑stocked.
- Oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.
- Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Passionate about great‑tasting food and exceptional customer service.
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
- Experience supervising a team.
- Experience in a similar Chef role.
- Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
- Flexible approach to working.
