Overview
Bank Senior Care Assistant position at Agincare. Join a welcoming and specialised support team at Agincare and contribute to high-quality care in our care home.
Responsibilities
- Person-centred care: ensure residents receive personal care from you and your team, including bathing, dressing and oral care, within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence.
- Care planning and reviews: contribute to and carry out care reviews with residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
- Medication: administer residents’ medication in a safe and compliant manner.
- Social activity: lead and participate in trips, social engagements and activities within the home.
- Leadership: support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development; may be called upon to lead the home when more senior managers are not available.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK.
- NVQ Level 2 - Health and Social Care qualification.
- NVQ Level 3 - Health and Social Care qualification or working towards.
- Bank Senior Care Assistant role requires flexibility to work night and weekend shifts as needed.
- Daytime shifts are from 8am to 8pm; night shifts are from 8pm to 8am.
