Overview
Join Howdens as a Business Developer to help grow your local depot.
You will speak to people face to face and on the phone, build relationships with trade customers, and identify opportunities to expand spend by understanding customer needs and ongoing projects.
You will work as part of a busy depot team, supporting sales activity by generating leads, arranging appointments, and maintaining an active sales pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
- Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
- Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
- Keep up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business.
- Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
- Promote products, offers, and events to keep customers engaged.
- Support administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
- Work closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets and deliver great service.
