We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients!

They are currently looking for a skilled Aladdin QA Data Engineer to join their asset management team.

  • Job Responsibilities/Objectives
  • You will be responsible for supporting the quality assurance of a large-scale data platform implementation.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineering teams to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, bringing strong experience of Aladdin/Aladdin Data Cloud implementations and a hands-on approach to testing.

  • Perform quality assurance activities across data engineering and data platform deliverables.
  • Design, write, and execute test cases to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Use SQL to validate datasets, transformations, and business logic.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify defects, investigate root causes, and support issue resolution.
  • Ensure data quality throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Required Skills/Experience
  • Strong experience working with Aladdin/ADC, with an in-depth understanding of its data structures and common implementation pitfalls from a QA perspective.
  • Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write and execute data validation tests.
  • Experience testing data pipelines and data transformations.
  • Experience with dbt is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
