Your day at NTT DATA

As a Principal Security Services Architect at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering innovative, secure, multi-year Managed Services solutions across our security technology domains.

You will work closely with clients and our sales and delivery teams to create cutting-edge solutions that drive digital transformation and meet our clients' unique business goals.

Your role will involve integrating technology and service design to develop competitive and commercially viable security managed service offerings.

You will lead the design of these solutions, validate new designs and features, and ensure they align with client requirements and organizational standards.

This includes mapping client requirements, creating detailed service elements, and developing comprehensive solutions that encompass cloud services, technology architectures, and leading practice frameworks like SIAM and ITSM.

Engaging with clients, you will facilitate workshops, analyze current architectures, identify opportunities for improvement, and present compelling value propositions.

You will also provide coaching and mentorship, offering your expertise to our internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of our security managed services.

Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the solutions are commercially competitive and designed to mitigate risk effectively.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in technology and security, sharing this with stakeholders to keep our offerings at the forefront of innovation.

From crafting cost models to managing vendor relationships, you will ensure a smooth transition to service delivery teams and the continuous evolution of our managed services.

To thrive in this role, you need to have

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing security managed services solutions for large enterprises.
  • Deep knowledge of Managed Services delivery models, including cloud and distributed environments.
  • Strong experience with security platforms and services such as network security, cloud security, endpoint security, IAM, and DATA protection.
  • Proficiency in costing models and working closely with sales and finance teams.
  • Experience crafting large, multi-year contracts and creating compelling value propositions.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas to all stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
  • Proven ability to lead workshops, present solutions, and achieve client buy-in.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute individually within a matrixed organization.
  • Passion for staying current with industry trends and best practices in security and managed services.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
