Overview

You will serve as a NUCLEAR CONTINUING & TRAINING DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR in the Production Resources Department (900), Electrical/Electronics Shop (C950), Production Resources Department Manager (C901) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Qualifications

  • Experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level (specialized experience) in the Federal service or equivalent in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following

  • Experience preparing budgets based on plans for maintenance, repair work, existing equipment or increases in services.
  • Experience conducting audits of shop trade theory/core tasks records and qualification records for conformance with established guidelines.
  • Experience establishing metrics to identify material costs expended by each fiscal year (FY) or Overhead Expenditures/Labor Expenditures monthly.
  • Experience with procurement, storage and use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio and visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment.
