About the Position:
This position falls under the Defense Health Agency-Atlantic Network at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, providing a team-based approach to healthcare to deliver evidence-based biopsychosocial assessment, treatment, prevention and management of mental health problems and bio psychosocially influenced health conditions for Military Health System beneficiaries. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Basic Requirement for Clinical Psychologist (Behavioral Health Consultant):
- Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting mental health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
- AND Licensure: This position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
