The Role
Assistant Project Manager reporting to the Portsmouth Office in the South Region.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff and subcontractors working on assigned projects.
- Create and maintain project documentation and control.
- Control project expenditure.
- Liaise with clients and other stakeholders.
- Produce monthly project reports.
- Proactively manage environmental impact and protection.
- Handle O&M outputs and ensure programme deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Essential: Project experience within Water, Construction or Industrial industries.
- APM membership or willingness to undertake Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ).
- Excellent client engagement and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Experience using planning software such as Microsoft Project.
- Full UK driving licence – driving to client sites will be required.
- Desirable: Appropriate trade qualification.
- Previous experience within the Water industry.
