Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the continuous running of the production process by eliminating engineering downtime through a safe and logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of equipment.
Mission Critical Skills:
- A strong electrical working knowledge with some mechanical experience.
- Qualified and time served in a similar position, ideally at NVQ 3 level.
- Apprentice trained and qualified to the 18th edition wiring regulations.
- PLC fault finding skills would be a distinct advantage.
- Working knowledge of robots and automated process plant & machinery.
- Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication, and general machining would be an advantage.
- Experienced in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems controlling hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chain, rollers, bearings, gear boxes, motors etc.), and able to read technical drawings.
