About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
Stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns.
Weekend working is a requirement of the role and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
In-store Pharmacies provide warm, friendly service and you will discuss personal health issues with customers, resolve problems, and guide customers to the right products.
You will be responsible for accurately assembling and processing prescriptions.
You will drive awareness of extra services offered in Pharmacy (e. g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
You will support the Pharmacist with delivery and accurate record keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes, etc.).
You will follow strict Standard Operating Procedures and work to them to meet customer expectations.
You may collect customers’ prescriptions from their doctor’s surgery and bring them to the store for collection.
You will have the opportunity to complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months and progress to training as a Dispensing Assistant, advancing your pharmacy training as you develop your career.
