The PS Audit Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all Personal Shopping stock control and audit activities, ensuring complete visibility, accountability, and accuracy of stock loans, sales activity, and inventory movements.
The role acts as the key link between Personal Shopping, Retail Operations, and Stock Control teams, driving process compliance, inventory integrity, and operational excellence.
The PS Audit Manager is accountable for maintaining robust audit controls, ensuring accurate stock reconciliation, managing internal stock transfers, and delivering timely reporting to support business performance and minimise stock risk.
- Audit & Stock Control Leadership
- Lead and oversee all Personal Shopping stock audit activities, ensuring stock integrity is maintained at all times.
- Manage the daily auditing process for all stock currently out on loan to the Personal Shopping team.
- Ensure hourly stockroom sweeps are completed to verify the whereabouts and status of all stock loans.
- Maintain full accountability for outstanding loan stock and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly.
- Drive adherence to all stock control processes and audit standards across the Personal Shopping function.
- Team Management & Governance
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the PS Auditor(s), ensuring all daily tasks and audit requirements are completed to the highest standard.
- Establish clear priorities and ensure workload is effectively managed across the team.
- Monitor performance against key audit and stock accuracy metrics.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiencies.
- Bring forward ideas and recommendations to develop the Personal Shopping operating model, ensuring all areas of the business are effectively supported and controlled, with full oversight of stock movements and a continual focus on operational excellence and process efficiency.
- Stock Reconciliation & System Accuracy
- Ensure all Personal Shopping loans are audited daily against REX (Stock on Hand System).
- Maintain complete oversight of stock accuracy across all Personal Shopping inventory movements.
- Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure all returns, sales, holds, and stock movements are accurately reflected within business systems and tracking tools.
- Tracker & Reporting
- Oversee the live Personal Shopping stock loan tracker, ensuring updates are completed accurately and on time.
- Ensure all returns are accounted for and outstanding loans are actively managed.
- Produce and analyse stock loan reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular updates to Personal Shopping leadership and Retail Operations management.
- Sales Audit & Performance Reporting
- Responsible for conducting daily sales audits to ensure transaction accuracy and compliance.
- Produce and maintain accurate weekly sales reporting for the Personal Shopping business.
- Analyse sales data to identify anomalies, trends, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Ensure all sales activity is accurately recorded and reconciled within company systems.
- Internal Stock Transfer Management
- Manage all internal stock transfers requested by the Personal Shopping team.
- Manage all stock movement / transfers between Regional stores.
- Ensure stock is accurately receipted and transferred within REX in line with company procedures.
- Coordinate the shipping and receipt of stock using approved logistics providers, including Fed Ex.
- Maintain accurate records of all stock transfers and ensure full traceability throughout the transfer process.
- Monitor transfer activity to minimise delays, stock discrepancies, and operational risks.
- Host Store Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Personal Shopping leadership, Retail Operations, Buying Teams, Distribution Centres, and Store Management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all Personal Shopping stock control and audit-related matters.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholder groups to support seamless operations.

- Review and approve daily End of Day reporting.
