We are seeking an organised and proactive Clinical Trials Administrator to provide administrative support for the delivery of a busy clinical research programme. This role involves coordinating trial documentation, supporting collaborating hospitals, organising meetings and training, and ensuring the efficient collection of study data.

The position is set to commence ASAP and will be full-time for an initial duration of 12 weeks with a pay rate of £14.98 per hour + holiday pay.

Key Duties:
  • Act as the first point of contact for trial enquiries via telephone and email
  • Prepare, collate and distribute trial documentation and recruitment packs to participating hospitals
  • Coordinate follow-up notifications and maintain communication with collaborating sites
  • Support training activities by preparing paperwork and organising travel, venues and meetings
  • Organise trial meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes where required
  • Manage office supplies, stationery and incoming post
  • Coordinate the collection of study data and monitor outstanding data returns
  • Liaise with research teams at collaborating hospitals to ensure timely submission of study information
  • Prepare newsletters and other trial communications
  • Maintain accurate records and provide general administrative support to the clinical trials team
Selection Criteria:
  • Previous administrative experience in an office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confident using the telephone and building effective working relationships
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
  • Experience using databases and maintaining accurate records
  • Understanding of the importance of accurate data collection within research or clinical studies
  • Excellent attention to detail and a flexible, proactive approach to work
