What you will do
- Perform routine and non‑routine maintenance on Chemical Dispensing Machinery and Spec Gas panels and cabinets on site.
- Ensure gas and chemical supplies are always kept uninterrupted to prevent any tool downtime.
- Work some of the time with minimal supervision so it is vital you can use your initiative and have a strong work ethic.
- Support the fab with any issues regarding chemicals or gases.
What you will need
Essential
- Qualification in an engineering‑related discipline.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to learn and progress within chemical and gas maintenance.
- Experience working with pressurized pumps or systems.
- Ability to work fixed 12‑hour shifts—7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday.
Desirable
- Chemical awareness and handling.
- Cleanroom experience.
- Comprehension of gas and chemical requirements.
- Previous experience with toxic and highly flammable gases.
- Experience with leak checking.
- IOSHH training.
- Background in engineering.
