Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing advice and product recommendations.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
  • General warehouse duties including booking incoming stock onto the system, putting it away, and picking and packing customer orders which will involve manual handling of heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets.
  • Acting as a relief driver, driving a 3.5t van and delivering products around Neath and surrounding areas.

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 17:00 with 1 hour break and every other Saturday morning a month 08:00am - 12:00pm paid as overtime.

Requirements:

  • A Driving Licence is essential.
  • Previous face-to-face sales and customer service experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Experience within the industry or trade merchant - advantageous.
  • To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
