Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 4:30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated Maths lessons that inspire every learner.
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching that enables pupils to achieve their individual targets.
- Create an inclusive, nurturing and positive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
- Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to maximise achievement.
- Use a range of assessment strategies and digital recording tools to celebrate progress and inform future learning.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
- Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development alongside their academic progress.
- Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
Role Variants
You may also take on the role of Form Tutor, supporting pupils' pastoral development, working alongside families and professionals, and leading a team of Teaching Assistants to ensure every learner receives the personalised support they need.
Qualifications & Experience
- QTS/QTLS or equivalent required.
- Experience teaching Maths across secondary age pupils.
- High expectations and a genuine belief that every child can succeed.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour support skills.
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs.
- Experience working within an SEN or specialist setting is desirable but not essential.
