About the Role

The Position

The UK Wealth Marketing Specialist will focus on marketing that helps maintain and deepen relationships with clients and prospects in the UK.

Clients could be large wealth managers, private banks as well as IFA networks.

Partnering with the UK Marketing Strategist, the UK Wealth Marketing Specialist will lead the execution of channel marketing to position and promote the firm's reputation and investment capabilities and products to this audience.

This individual will be responsible for planning, executing and assessing effectiveness of marketing plans.

This position is hands-on and will work in very close collaboration with colleagues in the client group as well as within our regional and global marketing team.

The candidate is expected to bring energy and a desire to learn about the business, wealth audiences, priority funds and marketing approaches.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the UK Marketing Strategist who will define the UK wealth marketing strategy working in partnership with Head of UK Wealth (Client Group).
  • Lead the execution and refinement of marketing plans to both improve awareness and adoption of our capabilities and products across the country with intermediary clients such as wealth managers and private banks.
  • Leverage the full marketing mix in implementation of marketing strategies designed to support the business and continually build the brand utilising (where appropriate) content, digital, email, events and media.
  • Partner with PR/corporate communications experts to ensure channel alignment and implementation of messages in a timely and effective manner.
  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in proactively recommending and implementing refinements to marketing approaches.
  • Manage budget and internal resources effective with focus on activities that will have the greatest impact in each country.
  • Employ a data-driven measurement approach and communicate progress and lessons learned to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain broad knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends and industry developments specific to the business area.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in intermediary marketing within the investment management industry.
  • Demonstrable strong work ethic, comfortable working remotely from other team members.
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management/organizational skills, including ability to multi-task, be responsive, and manage changing priorities while meeting often tight deadlines.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with creative teams, internal business partners, external clients and external vendors.
  • Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity; continuously seek out ways to improve upon and elevate effective marketing strategies.
  • Passion for working in a creative and collaborative environment.
