THE ROLE

We're looking for a passionate Skincare Specialist to join our growing beauty team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with professional skincare knowledge and relevant qualifications to help shape the customer experience across leading skincare brands.

You'll provide expert product advice, both in person and through online consultations and play a key role in bringing trusted skincare expertise to our showroom.

Whether your background is in skincare, aesthetics, beauty retail, or a pharmacy environment, you'll use your knowledge to help find the right solutions for each individual's needs.

This role would suit someone who loves skincare, stays up to date with industry trends, and enjoys combining customer service with specialist product knowledge.

We are open to both full-time and part-time applications and are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.

For part-time candidates, a weekday working pattern of approximately four days per week would be preferred.

There is no weekend working required for this position.

  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Customer Consultations
  • Deliver professional face-to-face and virtual skin consultations.
  • Conduct skin assessments and recommend tailored skincare routines based on customer needs and concerns.
  • Provide expert product recommendations across skincare, beauty and fragrance brands.
  • Follow up with customers where appropriate to support their skincare journey and drive loyalty.
  • Showroom Management
  • Manage the day-to-day running of the Beauty Showroom, ensuring a premium and welcoming customer experience.
  • Maintain high standards of product presentation, hygiene, consultation areas and treatment spaces.
  • Support beauty, fragrance and skincare demonstrations, events and customer appointments.
  • Ensure all advice and consultation activity is delivered professionally and within agreed business guidelines.
  • Brand Development & Education
  • Support relationships with skincare and dermo-cosmetic brands, acting as a knowledgeable showroom representative.
  • Assist with launching new skincare categories, services and customer education initiatives.
  • Deliver or support masterclasses, customer events and team product knowledge sessions.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the showroom as a trusted destination for skin health expertise.
  • Digital Consultation
  • Support provide professional advice through in-person appointments, phone calls, live chat, video consultations or email where required.
  • Respond to customer queries within agreed service levels, including next-working-day follow-up where appropriate.
  • Support accurate customer advice visibility across relevant product pages or customer touchpoints, where required by brand partners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Essential Degree-level qualification in skincare, aesthetics, cosmetic science, pharmacy, dermatology or a related discipline.
  • Professional skincare expertise with experience recommending products and routines to customers.
  • Confident communicating skincare advice both in person and through digital channels.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and personalised skincare solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of skin types, common skin concerns, skincare ingredients and product routines.
  • Confident customer-facing style with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to convert expert advice into product sales and repeat visits.
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working alone in a showroom environment.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working in a pharmacy environment.
  • Pharmacist qualification or training.
  • Experience within premium beauty, skincare, aesthetics or wellness brands.
  • Knowledge of dermatological skincare brands and treatments.
  • Experience carrying out skincare consultations or aesthetic treatments.
