Manufacturing Technician – Senior role at P&G Manchester Plant, Trafford Park site.
P&G is a global FMCG leader producing brands such as Gillette, Fairy and Oral B.
The Manchester plant has produced products for 90 years and is expanding through new investments.
We are looking for skilled technicians with strong technical and people leadership experience to join our Pampers manufacturing team.
Responsibilities
- Lead diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical and process issues.
- Execute maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Collaborate with support departments to drive high efficiency.
- Coach and develop colleagues.
- Support the site’s culture and strategies to deliver high‑quality branded products in a safe environment.
- Assist in shift planning and execution as part of a 12.5‑hour shift pattern covering 24‑hour plant operation.
- Initial Assignment
During a 12.5‑hour day shift, you will support the production line’s day support team, resolving issues, planning and executing maintenance, and ensuring manufacturing system execution following our “run to target” approach.
Future Senior Role
Upon successful completion, you’ll advance to a senior technician role within an operating shift team, contributing to continuous improvement and high performance.
