About the Role

To support with all aspects of the company\'s Operations and IT needs, such as hardware and telephony.

  • Actively contribute to the delivery of the company\'s Operations and IT vision including:
  • Digital and non-digital solutions for customers
  • Continually provide the right tools to support a mobile workforce
  • Delivery of timely and reliable data to drive effective business decisions

The Verlingue Operations Team supports our rapidly expanding business across all UK sites.

The IT team is responsible for delivering forward thinking and efficient IT services to the business, encompassing IT helpdesk, softphones, Acturis support and IT project work.

We deliver a professional, friendly and customer-focused support service, maintaining excellent communication with colleagues throughout the resolution process.

Responsibilities

  • IT Support
  • Support and assist the IT vision of a mobile and flexible workforce
  • Assist with IT projects and roll outs as needed
  • Assist and monitor the need/requests for new kit and distribute as needed, supporting the Operations/IT team. Maintain an asset register
  • Stock checks
  • Basic troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, printers)
  • Supporting standard business software
  • Ticket system usage (GLPI)
  • Handle 1st line IT support queries, aiming to resolve before escalation
  • Action IT support notification from HR relating to addition/removal of employees from group emails
  • General Responsibilities
  • Develop strong working relationships with external stakeholders including Lanix for IT support, Verlingue France and Acturis
  • Setting up new starters\' IT accounts and equipment
  • Completing leaver and mover processes
  • Managing user permissions under supervision
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 administration activities under supervision
  • Assist the monitoring of the mobile phone and data usage alongside the Operations/IT team
  • Assist the Operations/IT team to implement appropriate IT training and penetration testing
  • Maintain a high IT awareness with Cyber Security responsibilities (e. g. phishing tests, following secure password policies)
  • Reporting suspicious activity
  • Supporting security awareness campaigns

  • Keep abreast of IT improvements and advances
  • Carry out additional IT and Operations activities as requested
