We are recruiting for a Junior Investment Analyst within AJ Bell Asset Management, joining our growing Investments team supporting the ongoing development, governance and delivery of our managed portfolio solutions.
The role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the design, manufacture, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of discretionary managed portfolios and model portfolio solutions, contributing to investment outcomes, product development and business growth.
What you'll be doing
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows
- Support the team in the maintenance of AJ Bell partnership managed portfolios across the following areas: Product governance and monitoring
- Strategic and tactical asset allocation framework and implementation
- Working with Research team to devise appropriate portfolio implementation strategies
- Development and production of investment management MI
- Provide reports (and attendance where appropriate) at departmental committees
- Produce regular literature on a monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
- Portfolio implementation through adherence to trading rules and consideration of other factors.
Engage with other areas of the business to support the growth of both AJ Bell Investments and the wider business and ensure portfolio updates are communicated to investors.
Supporting and enabling the business to achieve its regulatory requirements, including consumer duty.
