At Leonardo, we have a fantastic new opportunity for a Transformation Manager to join our multi-disciplinary team.
This role is part of the Future Combat Air (FCA) Line of Business within the Electronics Division of Leonardo.
The Division designs, builds and manufactures complex electronic systems and services for the global defence market.
FCA acts as a Prime Contracting Office on behalf of the division for large-scale contracts, such as TEAM TEMPEST, the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) and Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), as well as developing a number of our own products associated with the architecture and integration of large, system of systems.
As the Transformation Manager, you will hold a significant role, leading the Transformation Team within Integrated Enablers, a Core Development Team (CDT) supporting the wider programme portfolio.
The role will focus on the delivery of projects to support the needs of teams across the programme.
This role will use data-based decision making to identify and implement effective working practices, through evolutionary or revolutionary approaches, to significantly reduce the cost and time to market of next generation combat air systems.
This role can be based at any of our UK sites, with a mixture of site and home-based working.
While envisaged as a full-time role, we are open to conversations, if you are looking for part time work.
- What You’ll Do as Transformation Manager
- Defining and implement key aspects of the Transformation strategy, while actively contributing to the development of the Transformation Strategy
- Ownership of the delivery of the Transformation Strategic Roadmap aligned to key programme milestones, deliverables, and evidence needs.
- Work alongside the Product Owners within Integrated Enables to update and socialise the Visionary roadmap
- Ensuring data accuracy and promotion of data-based decision making.
- Anticipate, mitigate and manage risks and capitalise on opportunities within the Transformation delivery.
- Build and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Transformation programme is successfully delivered.
- Establishing existing and required performance, introducing appropriate Key Performance Indicators and regularly monitoring and reporting progress.
- Supporting and facilitating business governance processes ensuring appropriate application and monitoring effectiveness.
- Acting as a champion for Transformation across the business, actively and effectively communicating at all levels.
- Leading process/governance/ways of working improvements to ensure best practice and continuous improvement in support of programme cost and schedule risk mitigation.
