Key Responsibility Areas

• Commit to the successful completion of all academic modules and assignments to achieve the Data Scientist Apprenticeship Standard (ST0585), which includes a BSc (Hons) in Data Science.
• Build your expertise in data science and software engineering by rotating through different areas of the business and contributing to Integrated Project Teams.
• Develop practical skills in designing, building, and maintaining software solutions, with a focus on data‑driven systems and complex applications.
• Gain a strong understanding of key software engineering principles, data science methodologies, and modern technologies used to process and analyse data.
• Support early careers initiatives by acting as a STEM ambassador and engaging with schools, colleges, and universities to inspire future talent.

Qualifications and Entry Criteria

• 120 UCAS Points, including Maths and at least one other STEM subject (3 B's at A' Level or equivalent).
• 5 GCSE grades 9–4 / A*–C or equivalent, including Maths, English and a Science.
• The apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little professional engineering experience and is not suitable for those who already hold an engineering, software or computing degree.

During your apprenticeship, you are encouraged to spend at least 3–4 days a week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.

This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
