Nuffield Health is entering a pivotal phase of its digital transformation, with a strong focus on delivering reliable, scalable technology solutions that support exceptional patient and member experiences. A key priority within our technology portfolio is the cloud migration of one of our hospital electronic patient record systems (EPRs) which is focused on improving the performance, resilience and operational effectiveness of a critical healthcare technology platform. This programme will ensure the EPR continues to support high-quality diagnostic services through enhanced stability, improved processes and sustainable technology delivery.

We're looking for an experienced Technology Delivery Manager, preferably with previous cloud or EPR experience, to lead this strategically important programme, overseeing delivery across multiple workstreams while aligning teams across Technology, Clinical Services, Operations, Finance and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the EPR cloud migration programme, focusing on clear, cost-effective outcomes that improve platform stability, operational performance and user experience.
  • Coordinate and align multiple internal teams and external suppliers against a shared programme vision and roadmap.
  • Manage programme plans, dependencies and risks across technology, operational and supplier workstreams.
  • Own delivery governance and communicate progress, risks and decisions clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage programme budgets, working closely with Finance to track spend and ensure strong cost control.
  • Partner with Technology, Clinical and Operational teams to identify and address platform challenges, ensuring sustainable service improvements.
  • Work closely with Architecture, Infrastructure and Service Management teams to support long-term platform resilience and supportability.
  • Embed effective and pragmatic ways of working across delivery teams.
  • Support the Head of Delivery and Lead Delivery Managers in evolving delivery standards and practices across the organisation.
  • Operate as a pragmatic, delivery-focused leader in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, suppliers and operational dependencies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technology Delivery Manager, Programme Manager or similar role within a technology-driven environment.
  • Experience delivering complex technology, infrastructure, software or business-critical platform programmes.
  • Experience in cloud migration projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate plans, progress, risks and decisions.
  • Experience managing budgets and financial tracking alongside Finance teams.
  • Experience managing third-party suppliers and technology partners.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership.
  • A collaborative, relationship-driven approach.
  • A genuine interest in using technology to improve operational performance and service quality.
