Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Adult Social Worker to join its client's Preparation for Adulthood team, based in Richmond Upon Thames.
Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments of individuals and carers' needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support, and prevent harm.
- Work in partnership with service users and carers using a person‑centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
- Apply social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.
Qualifications
- A recognised Social Work qualification.
- Current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
- Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care.
- Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation.
- Strong multi‑agency partnership working skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- A compassionate, proactive, and person‑centred approach to practice.
