Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Adult Social Worker to join its client's Preparation for Adulthood team, based in Richmond Upon Thames.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake assessments of individuals and carers' needs and risks to encourage independence, provide support, and prevent harm.
  • Work in partnership with service users and carers using a person‑centred approach, with the aim of maximising independence, wellbeing and choice.
  • Apply social work principles and values to guide professional practice and respect diversity.

Qualifications

  • A recognised Social Work qualification.
  • Current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
  • Experience undertaking assessments, reviews, and safeguarding interventions within adult social care.
  • Good knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and relevant legislation.
  • Strong multi‑agency partnership working skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • A compassionate, proactive, and person‑centred approach to practice.
  • A commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes for adults and their families.
