What will you be doing?
- Development and Management of Safety, Quality, Time, Cost and performance outputs of the Project's deliverables
- Client liaison and attendance at all project meetings to provide updates on progress against programme deliverables (delivery, H&S and quality).
- Resource planning - assess labour and plant requirements to assist Operations Manager in resource planning for on-site installation teams.
- Coordinate all design, engineering and construction activity to deliver successful district heating system installation and commissioning.
- Ensure material bill of quantities meet project requirements and materials procured are reconciled to the BOQ in accordance with Company procedures to achieve best value and prevent delays.
- Provision and Management/leadership of the Project's Design, Engineering and Construction teams on site.
- Oversee system commissioning, testing and handover to ensure performance meets design specifications.
- Compile Q&A documents ready for handover to clients on project completion.
What are we looking for?
- Qualifications: Black CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work, IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications preferred
- Practical experience working as a manager on active construction sites essential, experience in engineering associated with buried district heating systems preferred
- Knowledge of heating system design, pipework installation, plant commissioning and controls would be advantageous.
