Senior Sales Analyst EMEA – London (3 days a week in office) – is a key member of the EMEA Sales team focused on driving analytics and strategic support to cross‑functional business partners across product development, retail, results optimization and proactive business insights.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the customer and category sales performance expert internally, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, positioning, competitive landscape and market needs to develop comprehensive strategies that drive revenue while maintaining profitability.
- Build partnerships with assigned retailers/buyers through presentation of market trends across the entire Shark Ninja EMEA portfolio.
- Identify category gaps/opportunities for assigned customers, creating sales stories with strategic recommendations that differentiate Shark Ninja from competitors, helping to increase distribution, space and displays.
- Assist in the management of the demand planning process, tracking current category trends and leveraging them to develop future forecasts, communicating opportunity gaps and risks.
- Serve as the voice of the consumer in internal cross‑functional meetings, highlighting trends and opportunities for expansion within current and adjacent categories.
- Build strong partnerships, both internal and external facing, with a customer‑service mindset.
- Communicate for impact: drive objective analytics and communicate actions needed for better performance.
- Ad hoc analysis – quickly process situations and determine what information/data is required to generate actionable insights.
- Demonstrate curiosity and a desire to find creative solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience within category management, sales analysis or financial analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office skills – pivot tables, large quantities of data, chart building.
- Ability to take large data sets and boil them down to simple takeaways.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and be detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges to internal and external partners.
