This role supports the Brand & Franchise Marketing function in developing audience-led strategies across the enterprise for priority brands and franchises, helping shape the One Disney brand and franchise strategies.
The role requires a strategic-minded Research Manager to help Enterprise marketing teams drive sustainable audience growth and deepen fan engagement.
The role has EMEA responsibilities, including consulting with local and global teams and driving best practice.
The successful candidate will optimise multiple sources of TWDC audience, brand and franchise data, providing an EMEA perspective and leveraging outputs from globally led studies (e. g., Brand Equity, Consumer Spend, Character Strength) as well as EMEA cross-line-of-business sources (e. g., Disney+ Looker, revenue, social sentiment).
The role requires excellent communication and analytical skills, strong project management, and collaboration across multiple teams to inform audience, brand and franchise research.
This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
- Deliver actionable and strategic insights to inform and support strategic planning; identify trends and patterns across large data sources and create cross-referenced conclusions.
- Lead day-to-day management of complex multi-market quantitative tracking and ad-hoc studies, overseeing design, execution, analysis, and presentation of findings; identify knowledge gaps and propose research initiatives to address them.
- Develop deep knowledge of priority audiences (e. g., Gen Alpha) through cross-platform franchise onboarding; integrate proprietary and external data sources to create narrative-led, visual decks and inform holistic audience plans.
- Handle commercial and ad-hoc insight requests in collaboration with the team; provide compelling arguments and proof points to support partner relationships.
- Partner with the broader enterprise-wide marketing team, central and local, and with the global Brand Insights & Analytics team to disseminate insights and strategic recommendations; maintain alignment with business challenges and opportunities.
Meet weekly with the US-based Global Brand Insights & Analytics team.
- Nurture and develop junior talent within the team to drive strong performance and contribution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging approaches in research, including data access and visualization (e. g., dashboards).
- Support the Senior Manager on ad-hoc strategic projects, including developing agency briefs, commissioning research, and creating engaging debrief materials for stakeholders.
- Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience with analytical and market research techniques, with strong expertise in quantitative tracking and multi-market studies; manage all stages from questionnaire design to results analysis and presentation.
- Practical knowledge of research and analytics tools such as Survey Reporter, SPSS, GWI, TGI, Q, and Qualtrics.
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations using multiple data sources to inform narrative.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and research capabilities with strong attention to detail.
- Strong Power Point and Excel proficiency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
