We’re Cortex Search – a Dubai‑headquartered executive search firm specialising in AI, technology and cybersecurity leadership.

Work exclusively with the 1% of machine‑learning engineers, AI researchers and cybersecurity architects who are not publicly listed on job boards but are building the future.

Responsibilities

  • Run end‑to‑end retained and contingent searches for founders, CTOs and CISOs across the UK and GCC areas.
  • Map global talent markets and build target lists of high‑potential candidates, rather than just screening applicants.
  • Headhunt: approach, engage and win over candidates currently not looking for a role.
  • Qualify candidates on technical credibility, motivation, compensation expectations and relocation appetite before presenting them to clients.
  • Manage the full recruitment process: interviews, feedback, offers, negotiations, resignation coaching and placement support until notice completion.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, growing accounts, and drive rapid career progression within the firm.

Qualifications

  • Agency recruitment experience – preferably tech, but any market where you have performed true headhunting rather than job posting.
  • Resilience and strong organisational structure; search requires a slower burn with larger compensation.
  • Curiosity about AI and cybersecurity – you need to hold a credible conversation with a CTO and stay eager to learn.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of other regional languages is an advantage.
  • Self‑sufficient, capable of working with full founder backing and minimal hand‑holding.
  • Experience level: Exceptional talent with less experience may apply if coachable; training has produced successful placements in month three.
  • Relocation to Dubai required.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Competitive base salary of £30,000 to £175,000 plus uncapped, tax‑free commission – credited by billing volume, not tenure.
  • Commission‑only structure available; higher splits for experienced billers.
  • Fees reflect senior AI and cyber placements, not standard volume margins.
  • Comprehensive training and mentorship directly from the founders.
  • Hybrid working: 2 days from home and 3 days from Dubai locations.
  • Digital nomad status upon hitting consistent targets – unlimited holiday and ability to work from anywhere.
  • Early involvement in business growth, with clear progression to running own desk and later building a team.
