Project Coordinator (18‑month contract) – London (Hybrid)

Purpose

Work closely with the PMO Lead, providing essential coordination and administrative support across the Fusion Programme. Manage project activities, liaise with senior stakeholders, and gain exposure to all aspects of programme delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day PMO and project coordination support across the Fusion Programme.
  • Organise and coordinate project meetings, workshops, and governance sessions.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and track actions to completion.
  • Support programme reporting and maintain project documentation.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling and coordination of deliverables.
  • Ensure project documentation and governance standards are maintained.
  • Provide administrative support to the PMO Lead and wider programme team.
  • Support multiple workstreams and manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Contribute ideas to improve PMO processes and programme delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Project Administrator, Project Coordinator or PMO Support role.
  • Previous experience supporting projects or programmes.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience using Jira.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2 or other project management methodologies.
  • Experience supporting software implementation or transformation programmes.
  • Experience within engineering, construction or other project‑led environments (Financial Services experience not required).
