As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help deliver a difference to customers on every visit through partner‑led service and a passion for food. Your drive to go the extra mile will influence customers' impressions of the Waitrose brand and help build trust and loyalty.
Location: Waitrose South Harrow, 140 Northolt Road, London, HA2 0EG.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week over three night shifts (22:00–06:00). This role is part‑time and temporary with a fixed term contract.
Pay details: £14.55 per hour, rising to £14.80 per hour after 90 days in the Earning Membership. Night premium of £3.75 per hour applies to hours between 22:00–06:00 for this role and Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements for existing Partners where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:
- Stock replenishment – ensure shelves are full and products are in the right place for customers.
- Fulfilling online customer orders ready for delivery to customers’ doors.
- Reduce wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items near the sell-by date.
- Support the wider shop team as needed, including checkout support, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders, and more.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
