Overview

Vuori is seeking a strategic and dynamic People & Culture Manager to serve as our first in‑country P&C leader in Europe.

This role will partner closely with the General Manager, UK and local leadership team, while acting as a liaison to our global P&C organization based in the U.

As we expand our retail and corporate presence across the UK & Europe, you'll build the foundation of our local People & Culture function designing people strategies, developing programs and workforce plans that support both immediate business needs and long-term growth.

You'll create scalable processes, ensure compliance with local legislation, and deliver a thoughtful, consistent employee experience aligned with Vuori's values and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Establish scalable and compliant people practices that align with both European & UK legislation and Vuori's global People model.
  • Serve as a connector between the UK team and our Global People & Culture organization, ensuring clear communication and strategic alignment.
  • Partner with our Global P&C COEs to co‑design programs and infrastructure needed for sustainable growth across retail stores and corporate roles.
  • Drive talent strategies and organization design that support business growth & future market expansion within the region through thoughtful workforce and operational planning.
  • Provide insights on regional trends, risks, and opportunities that influence global people initiatives, P&C roadmap considerations, and organizational planning.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
  • Lead employee relations matters, including employee concerns, conflict resolution and complex investigations, with fairness, discretion, and care.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance teams to develop local policies, guidelines and documentation aligned with European labor laws and Vuori's global practices.
  • Provide effective and timely P&C support to address employee inquiries.
  • Maintain expert understanding in European and UK employment law.
  • Leadership Development
  • Deliver tailored P&C related trainings in partnership with Learning & Development and Retail Learning & Development (e. g., performance reviews, coaching and feedback, leadership development, new program implementation, etc.).
  • Coach and advise leaders and employees at all levels to strengthen performance, leadership effectiveness, team health and communication.
  • Partner with store leadership to identify capability gaps, future staffing needs, and opportunities to elevate team performance.
  • Use employee feedback and insights to develop regional action plans focused on strengthening engagement, connection and alignment to Vuori's purpose.
  • Lead country‑wide initiatives that reinforce our company values across retail stores and office teams.
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers and the Global Talent Acquisition team to build a strong hiring pipeline for HQ & Retail Leadership roles, while building local hiring practices.
  • Manage end‑to‑end recruiting process for designated positions, including generating candidate pipeline, interviewing, hiring & supporting smooth onboarding.

  • Maintain leave requests and follow up with internal and external partners on progression of each case, including return to work planning.
  • Payroll & HRIS
  • Coordinate payroll activities with internal teams and external providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Maintain employee data integrity, reporting, and documentation for audits, analytics, and operational planning.
  • Primary POC for external P&C providers locally.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive P&C Business Partner experience, with strong experience in employee relations and talent support.
  • Experience working in both retail and corporate/HQ environments, ideally within international or high‑growth brands.
  • Deep understanding of UK and European labor laws, cultural norms, and market dynamics.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to deliver engaging training and learning programs.
  • Demonstrated success in building a P&C function and/or developing brand new programs.
  • Strong capability in strategic partnership, business advisory, and influencing senior leaders.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort.
