Working across Finance, Actuarial, Capital and Planning, and market stakeholders, you will help shape how capital data is collected, governed, analysed and delivered.

You will also identify opportunities to improve efficiency through modern technologies and automation while maintaining the highest standards of data quality and control.

Responsibilities

  • Capital data and reporting: Lead the collection, validation and maintenance of syndicate capital data and related datasets.
  • Produce high-quality management information and regulatory reporting for internal governance forums and external stakeholders.
  • Own and continuously improve the Lloyd's Capital Return process and associated data collection platforms.
  • Develop reporting, validation and audit tools that strengthen data quality and support effective decision-making.
  • Support quarterly and annual regulatory and rating agency submissions.
  • Systems, analytics and innovation: Manage and enhance the systems, databases and reporting tools that support member capital activities.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, data transformation and modern analytics solutions.
  • Maintain capital oversight reporting tools and data repositories.
  • Support the delivery of accurate capital data into the Lloyd's Internal Model.
  • Provide technical expertise across capital-related projects and initiatives.

  • Support new market entrants through the capital modelling process.
  • Represent Member Capital within data governance and stewardship forums.
  • Deliver demonstrations, training and technical support to internal and external users.

  • Support the development of analysts across Member Capital and the wider Predictive Analytics team.
  • Help coordinate team priorities, workloads and key delivery milestones.
  • Contribute to recruitment, capability development and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Strong technical capability with curiosity, commercial awareness and a drive to improve how things are done.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and data management processes.
  • Experience using Power BI, Power Query, Python and Access to deliver reporting and analytical solutions.
  • Experience developing, maintaining or improving business-critical systems and processes.
  • The ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with experience delivering change and driving efficiencies.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience within insurance, reinsurance, London Market or financial services environments (would be beneficial).
  • Knowledge of capital modelling, prudential regulation or non-life insurance capital frameworks.
  • Experience supporting regulatory reporting or governance processes.
  • Exposure to data governance, data stewardship or data quality initiatives.
  • Commitment to inclusion and building a diverse, inclusive environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
