About the role

The Data & AI Delivery Lead - Supply Chain Excellence is a senior strategic leader responsible for defining, shaping, and executing the enterprise vision for the Supply Chain Excellence data and AI ecosystem.

This leader brings deep subject matter expertise in Supply Chain data and processes including manufacturing, packaging, quality, labs, site operations and sustainability, as well as knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems and advanced AI.

The role focuses on harnessing data, analytics, and AI to drive value across Supply Chain through accelerated intelligence, trusted data for enterprise reporting and decision making, and process optimisation, underpinned by robust data foundations including master data management, data quality and trusted enterprise data assets.

This role sits within the Chief Data Office (CDO) with a dotted line into the Head of Supply Chain Excellence Tech and is fully embedded within the Supply Chain Excellence Tech Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Vision
  • Define and champion the strategic vision for Supply Chain data, insights, and AI products in partnership with the Supply Chain Excellence Digital & Technology Lead.
  • Drive the evolution of the Supply Chain data and AI ecosystem, focusing on scalable, standardised data foundations and enterprise-wide data consistency.
  • Translate the Supply Chain Excellence strategy into a multi-year capability and data & AI roadmap, including master data, data quality and data governance maturity.
  • Incorporate external innovation, competitive insights, and industry best practices into Haleon.
  • Deep Expertise & Thought Partnership
  • Understand cross-functional data needs across Supply Chain, including critical master data domains and dependencies across systems.
  • Advise Supply Chain Tech leadership on data strategy, architecture, governance, quality and AI enablement.
  • Product & Portfolio Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle for Supply Chain data and intelligence products, from data strategy and foundational platforms through to advanced analytics, AI and Gen AI use cases.
  • Ensure alignment to enterprise data models and master data standards, with clear ownership of delivery milestones, financial commitments, and execution KPIs across the portfolio.
  • Define and manage a transparent, value-led product roadmap balancing near-term delivery with long-term data & AI transformation, prioritising foundational data improvements to unlock value.
  • Oversee prioritisation, investment evaluation, and data product governance.
  • Ensure data & AI portfolio scalability, resilience and security across both Gx P and non-Gx P environments with strong interoperability across the enterprise data ecosystem.
  • Support Sustainment, adoption and benefits tracking to ensure enduring business value, including partnership with the Data Steward network for tracking improvements in data quality, consistency and reuse.
  • Driving Supply Chain Excellence Outcomes with Data & AI
  • Lead integration of AI/ML and agentic intelligence into operational and technical workflows, enabled by high-quality, trusted and well-governed data assets.
  • Identify high-value AI use cases to accelerate innovation and deliver value in Supply Chain, ensuring foundational data readiness is in place.
  • Ensure responsible, ethical, and compliant AI across Supply Chain Excellence.
  • Support the embedding of AI solutions into operational processes.
  • Stay current on data, AI and Gen AI trends in manufacturing, packaging, quality, labs, site operations and sustainability, and identify opportunities to drive business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Influence and Collaboration
  • Act as the connective leader across CDO, Supply Chain Excellence Tech and Supply Chain business stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Data Management lead to drive enterprise alignment on data standards and metadata including master data.
