Company Overview

FIM (Fulcrum Infrastructure Management) is a management services company, managing social infrastructure assets on behalf of our parent company; global infrastructure investment company, Meridiam.

Key Requirements

  • Ability to process high-volume purchase and sales invoices accurately within deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills to maintain reliable financial records, reconciliations and documentation.
  • Confidence in managing supplier queries and working with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable using finance systems, with a high level of attention to detail and compliance.
  • Experience in a similar finance role, ideally supported by an AAT qualification or equivalent.

About the Role

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a central role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly across multiple infrastructure projects. You will take responsibility for processing high-volume supplier and sales invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end activities such as reconciliations and reporting. This is a hands-on role where you will manage the accounts inbox, liaise directly with suppliers to resolve queries, support payment runs and credit control activity, and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and on time. You'll work closely with the Transaction Manager and Financial Accountants, contributing to the integrity of our financial data and helping to ensure our finance function operates efficiently, compliantly and to a consistently high standard.

About You

You’re a highly organised, detail-driven finance professional who takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. With a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounts or finance support role, you’re confident handling high-volume transactions, maintaining reliable financial records and communicating clearly with suppliers and colleagues. You’re proactive, eager to learn and comfortable using Excel and finance systems to keep processes running smoothly. Ideally AAT-qualified (or equivalent), you bring a positive attitude, a willingness to get stuck in and a commitment to supporting a strong, efficient finance team.
