We are currently recruiting for a Medicals Team Leader to join our Liverpool office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering a high-quality service, supporting a busy team, and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of obtaining medical evidence and medical records.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Medicals team, coordinating day-to-day workflow and delivering high levels of engagement and productivity.
- Ensure all medical instructions are completed accurately and within SLA.
- Oversee the request and processing of medical records in line with GDPR and internal procedures.
- Ensure records are securely and promptly sent to medical experts for review.
- Provide guidance to team members on queries and process improvements.
- Monitor performance, identify training needs, and contribute to team development.
- Collaborate with file handlers, clients and medical agencies to resolve issues efficiently.
- Drive continuous improvement within the team and support operational excellence across the department.
About You
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Confident using systems and managing administrative processes.
- Ability to prioritise workload and support a team working to deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Experience within a medical, legal or administrative environment would be beneficial.
