Job Title
- LGV Driver/Sweeper
- Hours: 39 hours per week Location: Camden Pay: £16.14 an hour

Responsibilities
- Assist in manual sweeping of streets, foot‑ways, alleys and other areas.
- Use training to remove dirt, dust, litter and other debris to contract standards.
- Ensure gully grids are clear and sweepings are not directed into them.
- Empty litter bins, replace liners and collect sweepers bags from pick‑up points.
- Use onboard technology to record task confirmation and crew issues.
- Report graffiti, fly posting and any damage to bins or containers.
- Check vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any damage.
- Operate supplied vehicle safely, maintaining legal limits and vehicle weight restrictions.
- Comply with site conditions and Health & Safety procedures when entering premises.
- Adhere to road traffic legislation, including parking restrictions.
- Complete all required forms accurately and submit them to the Team Leader/Manager.
- Ensure the cab is left clean, empty, and washed after each shift.
- Report any schedule discrepancies immediately to the Team Leader or Manager.
- Carry out additional duties as directed by the Team Leader/Manager.
- Attend any requested training courses.
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with the public, clients and colleagues.
- Report all accidents or near‑miss incidents fully to the Team Leader/Manager.
- Follow Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Street Cleansing Codes of Safe Working Practice.
Qualifications
- Communication skills.
- Previous LGV Driver / Sweeper experience.
- Full Valid UK driving licence.
- Desirable: Previous waste experience.
