Senior Engineer – CAS Practice
We are hiring Senior Engineers based in the North of England.
You will be a hands‑on individual contributor, enabling client‑facing teams, building real solutions that create measurable value, and concentrating your engineering effort on solving problems in our Gen AI platform or building around and outside it when required.
Responsibilities
- Work within a forward‑deployed engineering team or delivery pod aligned to a service line, alongside a product manager and under the technical direction of a Lead Engineer.
- Build real solutions that create measurable value, focusing on our Gen AI platform and surrounding components.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery, translating business needs into technical design and solutions.
- Apply engineering judgement to solve problems within the platform, design architecture, integrations, and data flows.
- Use backend plumbing, API integrations, MCP server builds, and data connections as required.
- Collaborate independently and within teams to deliver production software.
Qualifications and Experience
- Track record of owning delivery end‑to‑end in a team‑based model.
- Experience shipping production software and making architectural and engineering decisions.
- Depth in backend integration engineering using Python or C#. Net.
- Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
- Hands‑on experience with LLM integration patterns, MCP tooling, and AI‑enabled or agentic development environments.
- Comfortable using Gen AI tools such as Copilot, Claude or Chat GPT.
- Ability to decide when to solve natively in the platform versus bespoke engineering.
