We are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our Home Group contract, covering Harrogate and Darlington.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, reliable and customer-focused gas servicing, repairs and installation works across occupied properties.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.
  • Work as part of a supportive and professional team, using a handheld device to manage and complete jobs efficiently.
  • Keep customers informed throughout visits and deliver an excellent experience at every interaction.
  • Adapt to a varied role where no two days are the same and apply technical expertise to make a genuine impact on residents’ lives.

About You

  • Qualified Gas Engineer with a passion for quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
  • Current ACS accreditations: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1 and HTR1, together with a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent City & Guilds qualification.
  • Valid Gas Safe registration and Unvented Hot Water (G3) qualification are essential.
  • JIB PMES Blue Card is desirable.
  • Experience in social housing or property maintenance is advantageous; applications from engineers with transferable experience are welcome.
  • Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months is required.
