Full time, permanent Leeds Law School is seeking an exceptional academic leader to take on the role of Course Director.

Key responsibilities
- Providing course direction, organisation and management to deliver excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Working closely with relevant colleagues to oversee relationships with the University's strategic partners and identify opportunities for student recruitment, transnational education, student mobility, research and enterprise.
- Leading, developing and supporting apprenticeship provision within Leeds Law School.
- Leading curriculum design and development aligned with the needs of students and the profession.
- Monitoring and enhancing course performance through quality assurance processes, with a particular focus on recruitment, progression, achievement, student satisfaction and graduate employability.
- Supporting and guiding students through effective academic advice and pastoral support.
Who we are looking for
- Hold an academic qualification in law, such as an LLB or GDL, and either a doctorate in a relevant subject or a UK professional legal qualification with relevant post-qualification experience.
- Are Fellows of the Higher Education Academy or hold an equivalent qualification or status.
- Have significant experience of course or programme leadership and a record of teaching excellence.
- Experience of doctoral supervision would also be advantageous.
- Have experience of, and can provide evidence of, research-related activities and publication.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, teamwork and organisational skills.
