As a Collection and Network Driver you will bring trust to the doorstep, delivering more than just letters and parcels – you deliver for the people.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Driving and delivering mail safely and efficiently.
- Checking post-boxes and visiting post offices as required.
- Visiting business customers at prearranged times to collect mail.
- Dropping off collected mail at processing centres.
- Sorting mailbags and ensuring each piece reaches the correct destination at the correct time.
- Collecting and delivering election materials and certain mandatory items, such as food products or alcohol, in line with Royal Mail business standards.
Qualifications
- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
- Consider yourself a people‑person.
- Enjoy walking for long periods and being outdoors in any weather.
- Strong sense of community and pride in your work.
- Looking for a role with flexible shift patterns.
- Held a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
