JUST-Systems is a £5.6 million research programme funded by UKRI and supported through the Building a Green Future strategic theme.
The programme aims to realise a just, prosperous, sustainable and resilient net zero transition in the UK, with stakeholder engagement, people and place at its core.
JUST-Systems covers five UK case studies and will deliver interdisciplinary systems science, training for researchers, support for early career researchers, and capacity building across communities, business and government to deliver people- and place-centred approaches.
The role of the Knowledge Exchange Officer is to lead on community liaison and engagement in the Aberdeen case study, centred on Torry.
This role acts as a bridge between JUST-Systems research activities, local organisations, and the Torry community on housing, sustainable local development, fuel poverty and retrofit.

Collaborates with project partners and local stakeholders to support implementation of JUST-Systems initiatives at the community level.
