ROLE SUMMARY: We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. You’ll help develop and improve systems that support FX trading. Your work will play a meaningful role in delivering reliable and efficient trading experiences. You’ll focus on making our applications faster, more stable, and easier to scale.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Core Application Development
- Build and enhance backend applications using Java
- Design solutions that improve system reliability and scalability
- Contribute to improving performance and overall system stability
- Take ownership of features from development through to production
- Collaboration & Support
- Work with teammates across engineering, product, and operations
- Contribute to team activities such as planning, code reviews, and mentoring/coaching team members
- Investigate production issues and work on continuous improvement efforts
- Process & Quality Assurance
- Help improve how the team builds and delivers software
- Write automated tests and support continuous delivery practices
- Follow secure coding standards and support compliance requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Experience developing backend systems in a professional environment
- Experience working with Java
- Understanding of system performance and concurrency
- Familiarity with development tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Comfortable working in a Linux environment
