On behalf of DeutscheBank, we are looking for an IT Auditor for a 6‑month contract based in London (Hybrid – 3 times per week in office) on a PAYE day‑rate engagement.
Purpose of the role: We are currently looking for two experienced VP‑level Internal Technical Auditors to support high‑profile Investment Banking audits within a complex trading environment. These roles will focus on front‑to‑back audit coverage across Algo Trading and Rates/Index desks, including highly technical reviews of trading systems, controls, and algorithmic strategies.
What You’ll Do
- Execute end‑to‑end internal audits across trading desks, covering trade lifecycle, systems, and control frameworks.
- Review and assess algorithmic trading models, automated decision‑making systems, and associated controls.
- Perform detailed IT audit work including trade capture, booking processes, and system validation.
- Conduct technical reviews of code, system logic, and automated controls (Java/C++ environments).
- Engage with front‑office stakeholders including traders, quant teams, and technology partners.
- Support delivery of large, complex audits (including global audits with extensive control frameworks) within tight timelines.
Skills You’ll Need
- Strong Investment Banking experience, with exposure to Rates, Index products, or Algorithmic Trading.
- Proven Internal Audit experience at VP level, with ability to independently own audit delivery.
- Solid IT Audit and controls expertise (trade capture, booking, automated controls, system validation).
- Technical understanding of coding (Java or C++ preferred) and ability to review system logic.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and algorithmic behaviour (including prompt usage highly desirable).
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior business and technology teams.
